"My plane broke a prop up north"

Friday evening, just sitting down for supper we got a call from a client saying that they had a plane up north that had broken a propeller and that they needed to ship a new one over. In order to safely transport the propeller we needed to build a crate that can be strapped to the back of a flat bed and transported to the hanger up north. We were on a time crunch as the plane needed to be off the tarmac by Sunday. Presented with the challenge we started by creating a 3D model of the crate to confirm the dimensions. Once the drawings were approved we moved quick to provide the customer with their product. within 24hrs the prop was on its way up north.
